The Eversdens’ Church Fete
After a wet morning, the sun shone in the afternoon. Family fun! Another great village day. Shelagh Bidwell and I could not prune our collection of over 200 photographs down any smaller! Shelagh’s start at Village Fete- 1 (with Lorraine and parrot!). The happy faces tell the story.
Seventeen people scored 100% in the Match the Halves competition. Too easy! Ruth Potts was drawn as the lucky winner.
Once again the proceeds exceeded all expectations – making all the behind-the-scenes work worthwhile.
(My first contribution to the village website was a set of Church Fete pictures in 2005. Today’s set rounds off my nine-year tenure. DF)
