PLANNING MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON
MONDAY 16th NOVEMBER 2015 IN THE PAVILION HALL AT 8 PM

Variation of Condition 6 of S/0451/06 – Alterations to Boundary treatment

The planning application was for the removal of the existing leylandii hedge, replacing with a close boarded fence and to plant a new hedge where the old one currently is.
Mr Stephen Watterson, husband of Miss Amy Goymour and owner of the property, attended to answer any questions.
Mrs Hoar asked why they had chosen to plant a Portuguese laural. Mr Watterson replied that it was a smaller leaf than a normal laurel and more attractive.
Mrs Webster expressed concern at the fragile state of the pavement and posssible inevitable damage when the old hedge is removed.
Mr Dalton proposed to approve the plans with no comments. This was unanimously agreed.
