Construction of a secure, agricultural equipment store
The Clerk read a letter opposing construction traffic down the narrow Bucks Lane. The applicants stated that the current entrance to the farm was the same as had been in use for the past 60 plus years. The applicants stated that deliveries throughout the year have been to the property at the end of the lane and not Winrose Farm and this statement was inaccurate. The plans are for an equipment store and will therefore no increase the traffic once built. As for vehicles having to turn and reverse in Bucks Lane there is ample room within the farmyard for large vehicles to turn comfortably without having to reverse onto the lane. Mrs McCollum also stated that the new store had been strategically placed so as not to fell any trees.
Mr Dalton proposed to support the proposal this was seconded. Mr Dinsdale, as Chair, asked if the application drew any comments alongside the decision and none were forthcoming. It was unanimously RESOLVED to support the application with no comments.
The Chair closed the meeting at 8:10 pm.
