Extraordinary Meeting Minutes: Monday 17th June 2019
Minutes of EXTRAORDINARY meeting held in the Pavilion on Monday 17th June 2019 immediately after the 8 pm Planning Meeting
Present: Mr Dalton, Mr Dinsdale, Mrs Glasse, Mrs Handley, Mr Oliver, Ms O’Callaghan, Mr Watterson and, in the Chair, Mr Prince.
Apologies for Absence were received from Mrs Edwards and Mrs Mallows.
There were no Declarations of Interest.
Approve Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2018/2019Prior to the meeting the Clerk had circulated:
- The Cash Book
- Year End to 31st March 19
- Variances
- Bank Reconciliation
- Annual Governance and Accountability Return
The Clerk clarified that the large variances regarding “other receipts” was due to the donation from the Recreation Ground for the play equipment. The Clerk explained that if the External Auditor had concerns regarding any of the variances they emailed directly and a further explanation was normally sufficient.
The £92.00 in grants for Tailcorn was to the approved extra funding to cover the colour supplement.
The Village Hall insurance premium also formed the Parish Council insurance and included Public Liability for the Clerk.
The Clerk confirmed the dates of the period for the exercise of public rights would commence on Monday 17th June until Friday 26th July.
The Council voted unanimously to approve the Accounting Statements for 2018/2019.
The Chair closed the meeting at 8.16 pm.
