MINUTES OF THE PLANNING MEETING HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON MONDAY 8TH AUGUST 2016 AT 8 PM

1. S/177/16/FL
Ground Floor Rear Extension with Associated Works
4 Lowfields, Little Eversden, Cambridge, CB23 1HJ

The Council RESOLVED to support this application by majority vote with no comments.
2. S/1760/16/FL
St Marys Church, Church Street, Great Eversden, Cambridge, CB23 1HU
Installation of air source heat pump, 6 units positioned on a, concrete base to the middle of the south elevation of the church surrounded by a timber fence.
Mr Neville Pritchard, Eversdens Parochial Church Council
Mr Nicholson of the PCC informed the meeting that he had visited a similar pump last year. The pump was both very environmentally friendly and produce minimal noise. The Council RESOLVED unanimously to support the application with no comments.
3. Greater Cambridge City Deal Resolution
Following discussion it was RESOLVED that Cllr Prince will draft a letter to Cllr Burkitt, and circulate to the Council for approval before sending, a response to include recommendations for:
• A direct bike route from Eversden – Comberton;
• To point out that Eversden were part of the problem as there is very little access to public transport, only 2 buses in to Cambridge throughout the day and 4 out in the afternoon.
• A bus hub at Comberton to connect to cycle paths.
All these comments will be with an invitation to Cllr Burkitt to discuss further.
It was also RESOLVED that a census of village transport should be carried out in September to try and establish a true indication of vehicle usage.
4. Devolution
It was RESOLVED that the Chair will draft a letter, again for circulation and approval, reiterating both Cllr Sinnett-Smith and Cllr Kindersley’s views.
The meeting was closed at 8:30 pm.
