At the last parish council meeting mention was made about the village sign needing attention. Glamourised though it is, sadly lichen will not exactly prolong the life of the sign so please enjoy this picture record. Yes in it’s present state it did merit the interest of the British Lichen Society hence the title, “The Lichen Hunter”
