Barbara Sach – Ringing in her memory on July 5th
Published on June 24th, 2022 |
At mid-day on Tuesday, July 5th, the bells of St. Helen’s church, Little Eversden, will be rung in memory of Barbara Sach and the work she did to help restore these bells.
Some of Barbara’s relatives are planning to attend and anyone else who remembers Barbara will also be welcome. Weather permitting, there will be seating outside to hear the bells at their best, and tea and cakes will be served.
The ringers will attempt a Quarter Peal that lasts around 45 minutes. As normal, non-ringers are allowed in the church during the ringing but are asked not to distract the ringers.
