TAIL CORN
The Eversdens Village Magazine

History

Tail Corn was thirty years of age in 2006! Ann Bennettt suggested it so she became the editor - and still is. Fiona Ellis began typing on to wax stencils - and was typing right up to her illness in February 2006. A professional printer has taken the place of the old duplicator. Advertisers began to pay in 1997. They are the magazine's main source of income. Village Clubs and Societies are offered free space for copy and for advertising events and fixtures. However, an annual donation towards the cost of producing the magazine is appreciated.

Julie Maling (who worked on Tail Corn in the past) has most ably taken on the jobs of managing the Advertising and of word-processing the articles. Ann arranges the material into magazine format ready for the printer.

Distribution of Tail Corn is by a loyal band of volunteers. The magazine is produced three times per year and delivered free of charge to all village residents.

Past copies of Tail Corn form a rich archive of Eversden life and characters. Tail Corn is to be treasured.
