"Private 35890, 10th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Born Little Eversden, enlisted Bury St Edmunds, resident Blackwell, Berkshire. Died of wounds 26th July, 1917 in France and Flanders. Formerly 3369, Royal Fusiliers."
