Dear Friends

Happy Easter
Well what a busy time I've been having. I heard Leigh saying that I had to have two trips out everyday this week because I am such a big boy. Gillian soon won't be able to carry me. I'm rather proud of that!

Do you remember I was promised a Walk?  Well it was certainly different from anything I could have imagined.  On Thursday they put a collar around my neck and put my medal on it, then attached a lead.  I had to drag it around all day even when I had my food just so that I could get used to it. Silly isn't it?  But it pleased them.

On Friday I had my first trip out and we went to town in the car. I like riding in the car but I do object - loudly - to being tethered. I want to bounce around whilst we are going along. I was ready for my walk when they put me into a bag and Gillian carried me around.  It's not fair. I want run around like Billy.

We went into a big box marled 'lift' in the car park and when the doors opened we were somewhere else. Very strange. I had a good time and had lots of attention but I wasn't too keen on the noisy buses.

Saturday I had two trips out. We went to Royston to see a train but I missed that bit because I went to sleep. Then we went to Barton and I met ducks. Billy says they are great to chase but I bet I am not allowed. I've also discovered what shopping is. Went to Tesco and Grafton centre. Being a man I was quickly bored and sat down on my mat for a sleep. I heard a lady say she thought I was stuffed because I was sitting so still!

Billy is good fun!  He lets me jump on him and bite his ear.  He holds me down with his front paw if I get too excited.

Tony was all excited this morning and said I was a good boy for 'going all through the night'.  It's very odd because I didn't go anywhere, not even for a wee!

See you soon.            Quin
