Well I’ve had my haircut!

Do you remember that people were talking about me having “the snip” and I couldn’t understand what all the fuss was about? At the beginning of December we saw Wendy, our Supervisor, and she said I was definitely ready. Things were no clearer to me because my hair hadn’t grown any longer. Then they started talking about baubles being removed! It sounded to me as though they had lost their marbles

Did I tell you I had a little bump on my head for a few months now? It had got a bit bigger so I was taken to the vet to have it checked out. The vet said that I should have the lump “looked at” and…. I was definitely ready.

After that things happened quite quickly. Wendy took me away to The Centre where I met lots of new pals and some kind girls looked after me. Then I had a long sleep. When I woke up I had a sore head and felt “different!” I had to stay there for two weeks, then, last Tuesday, I was having an afternoon snooze and when I opened my eyes there was Mum, Dad and Billy who had come to collect me.

I’ve had a good look in the mirror and I can tell you I am NOT impressed with the haircut… it’s a shaved patch 3 inches square on the top of my head!  It looks pretty silly! All that fuss to end up looking like patchwork. It's just not fair.
