A planning meeting of the Parish Council was held in the Pavilion on 28th May 2012 at 8.30pm.
Apologies: Mr Dalton, Mr Huddleston, Mr White.
Present: Mrs Glasse, Mrs Pritchard, Ms O'Callaghan, Mr Dinsdale, Mrs Spencer, Mr Tebbit, and, in the Chair, Mrs Handley.
1. Planning Application S/0890/12/FL & LB
for restoration and extension of existing barn at 44 Wimpole Road, Great Eversden.
The applicant, Mr Peter Alberry-King was present as a member of the public. It was agreed to invite him to explain the project and to answer questions about it. This proved very informative, and after a full discussion it was unanimously agreed that the application be approved.
It was noted that the neighbours had been consulted and had no objections.
2. There was a further request for funding for the Jubilee Events in the sum of £150. This was in addition to the £50 agreed for Mrs Lindi Wood in minute 25 of the last meeting. It was unanimously agreed that a further £150 be donated towards the cost of this event, making a total of £200. A cheque for this amount will be sent to the Recreation Ground Committee. Members also expressed their appreciation of the work being carried out by Mrs Lindi Wood for this event.
