8 Information FOI compulsory model template to be completed shortly.
9 Standing Orders revision. No progress.
10 Affordable Housing. Deed of Variation problems. The Chairman reported on a meeting held with Cl. Heazell and Schuyler Newstead, the Housing Strategic and Development Manager of SCDC. There is serious concern that it has recently been ruled that only residents of Little Eversden are eligible for Low Close Houses, despite the fact that since 2004 all negotiations have assumed that the developments at Low Close and OSP 148 would be open to applicants from both villages equally. The Planning Department is reluctant to alter this decision by changing the Deed of Variation. The Parish Council was not consulted about the wording of the Deed.
11 Low Close. Wooden fences at East and West of site have not been erected as agreed, although metal fences are in place.
However, a window wrongly installed has been corrected. It was agreed to watch the situation and only intervene if necessary.
12. Wimpole Road, Bridleway 9, information: Anglian Water have asked the electricity board to investigate installing a better electrical supply to their reservoirs. Electricity board have asked Rural Group how to handle the necessary obstruction to footpaths. Rural Group wish to reduce the problems in that area of vehicles being dumped and 4 X 4s driving about on the fields at night. They have suggested a pair of lockable gates with a gap between them too narrow for a car but plenty for a horse. Farmers will be provided with keys to the locks.
13 Police Liaison Meeting The next meeting will be at Haslingfield Village Hall on 22nd July at 7.30pm

16 Cl. Mrs Heazell reported dealing with a complaint about the number of cars parked at the end of Wheelers Way. There are 12 cars for seven houses.
She also reported on the result of the survey regarding the transfer of housing stock to a housing association. Tenants had voted strongly against.
The report on the Orchard Park Development, which she had chaired, had won a National Award entitled 'Best use of Small Resources'. Despite this, the Community Centre had still not been opened.
She also reported that the Transport Commission under Sir Brian Briscoe, which was investigating the need for the Congestion Charge and problems with Transport around Cambridge, was fully aware of the difficulties and inadequacy of rural bus services.
17 Congratulations were expressed to Cl. Kindersley on his re-election with an increased majority.
Cl. Kindersley then spoke about the consultation on the provision of gipsy sites in SCDC's area. A number of potential sites have been identified. He strongly urged that we respond to the questionnaire.
