Our Campaign for the Right Approach

As a community we must unite to oppose East West Rail Co’s plans to create a major commuter and freight line through the Eversdens, and we must each do what we can to lobby for the right approach. This means, above all, lobbying for proper consideration to be given to a different route that would see the line enter Cambridge from the north: a ‘Northern Approach’.

The Eversdens EWR Working Group is working hard within the Eversdens, and together with other South Cambridgeshire communities affected by East West Rail Co’s plans, to campaign for a better way.

As part of this campaign, we have a set of provocative, professionally-designed posters. You should see them appearing in the coming days in the Eversdens and in the streets of other villages.

Please consider printing your own versions of our posters and displaying them prominently in your windows and/or in your gardens.
