My Dad (Mulbery White) was the village baker. I went to school at Little Eversden for a while then went onto Haslingfield School. Then Comberton Village College. I enjoyed seeing the site - it brings back happy memories. Sign Time: November 29 2003 at 13:05:30 |

| Visitor's Name: Rosemarie Salter Homepage URL: http:// You are from: London, England Comments: I signed your guestbook last year but since then have found out more about my ancestors, the Besters, who came from the Eversdens. And last week I actually spent a night in Great Eversden, staying at the Moat House.A very enjoyable stay. My husband and I and our two boys paid a flying visit to the places round and about that my maternal ancestors came from, Arrington, the Eversdens and Comberton. I also bought a copy of the Millennium book which is lovely. Some of the people in the pictures may even be related to me!My great, great grandfather William Bester was a blacksmith and lived in Chapel Road and when I saw the pictures of the blacksmiths I did wonder if one might be him but he must have been before their time. Anyway, I look forward to finding out even more and possibly coming back for a longer visit sometime. Sign Time: March 02 2003 at 14:59:39 |
| Visitor's Name: Bruce Leet Homepage URL: You are from: Gaithersburg, Maryland USA Comments: Hello! Congratulations on having developed a very nice, and very sensible, web site. It's a pleasure to use and is very user-friendly. I like to think that the web site is a reflection of the people in Great Eversden and Little Eversden. I just discovered the Eversdens because I've only recently learned that my family tree goes back to John Leete, born about 1500 and died in 1551, in Little Eversden. The link comes down through Simon Leete (son of Robert Leete) who appears in the most recent tier of your web site's genealogy of the Leete family tree. Simon Leet was born (according to Ancestry.com) in 1727/1728 in Little Eversden and died in about 1795 in Virginia, USA. I'm thinking about coming to visit Little Eversden in May or June of 2003 or 2004, to get a sense of where I came from way back when. In the meantime I'll be interested in anything I can learn about the Eversdens, and would enjoy hearing from anyone interested in writing. Sign Time: February 10 2003 at 11:10:57 |

I am searching for the US Hastings connection to the Motherland, one Thomas Hastings and wife Susannah who left from Ipswich in 1634. Little Eversden is one of the rumored home bases but no proof!! I'm heading to Cambridge during this Christmas holiday to do a little research on your town records. Any suggestions??? Regards, Bob Hastings Sign Time: December 08 2002 at 12:36:23 |

| Visitor's Name: Rosemarie Salter Homepage URL: http:// You are from: Thamesmead, London Comments: Just found out about the Eversdens through researching family history-my mother's maternal grandparents came from Great & Little. Their name was Bester and they were both born in the 1870's and by the time of the 1901 census they were living in North London, as were my mother's paternal grandparents, one of whom (my great grandfather) was born in Comberton! So before I ramble on about family history anymore I'd like to say that it is my ambition to visit Great & Little Eversden someday. Sign Time: October 03 2002 at 10:20:37 |

My daughter, Yoshimi, 9 years of age and my wife and I sat and read and looked at this beautiful book, reminiscing England, while living in Hong Kong. It simply lifted our spirits. Now in Korea with many friends in Seoul we very much enjoyed reading Tom's article for Tailcorn. Amazing achievement for the team. Also had a good laugh at his picture too! Only yesterday we spoke to lovely Christine from Seoul. How we wished we were in the Eversdens!! | Visitor's Name: David Clarke Homepage URL: http:// You are from: Houston, Texas, USA Comments: I used to live in Great as a child/teenager and have many fond memories of my youth spent there. We used to live in "Blacktops" on Wimpole Road, with the White's on one side and the Benyon's (sp?) on the other. In 1980 my family emigrated to Canada, and the memories of life in Great Eversden slowly faded, replaced by those of life in the sub-artic. However, each time I have visited the UK I have always made a point of visiting Great Eversden - just for memories sake. Now I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas, just outside Houston. It is very different here, a world away from Cambridgeshire and the Eversdens; but the internet has brought everything closer. It is good to see that the Eversdens have a web presence now. Keep up the good work. Sign Time: August 21 2000 at 23:10:58 |
