Robert Lloyd Parry - The Nunkie Theatre Company - 2006

- brought A Pleasing Terror to St Mary's in Great Eversden. The event was in aid of the Friends of Eversden Churches and raised exactly £1000. Local and distant people gathered for this opportunity to catch this show which is currently touring the country (click). The church was packed. Robert, as M R James, held the audience spellbound. The setting, subtly lit inside and outside the church, was perfect. The village was again treated to a virtuoso performance fit for the world stage.

A Pleasing Terror is being performed during October alone in no fewer than twelve locations as widespread as Falmouth, Cardiff, and The Lantern Theatre in Sheffield . Somehow Robert squeezed in a performance in St Mary's. And coming up - a twenty-night run at The New End Theatre in Hampstead over Christmas!
