Coaching for 2016 resumes Sunday 17 April, with Rilla, our excellent Level 3 LTA coach from Comberton Tennis Club. Note that we will run with slightly different age groupings this year, although, of course, if there are any particularly able players, Rilla we be pleased to suggest moving between groups.
In addition to coaching the children, we are very fortunate to have been invited by the court owners in Great Eversden to offer the opportunity for Friends of Eversdens’ Tennis to also play up until twilight. On the Sundays we hold coaching in Great, Friends may begin playing after the coaching at 4:30pm; on the alternate Sundays (when coaching is in Little), Friends may play from 2pm. It is anticipated that Friends will be parents or ‘grown up’ members/associates of the club, who would like to play tennis themselves on a hard court. One or two slots of half an hour’s play per Friend will be available for booking, managed by a diary held by Matt Prince.
The annual fee to become a Friend of Eversdens’ Tennis is £20, which will allow play throughout the season. Potential Friends are invited to email Matt (firstname.lastname@example.org), who will be pleased to receive bookings and membership fees.
