Altar Frontal
A world-wide search on the internet has so far failed to find the Rev Harold Croft memorial frontal made by his widow and son. Perhaps this picture and the details may nudge someone's memory.

The Millennium Frontal
The new millennium presented the village with a challenge to replace the stolen frontal as well as the lectern, pulpit falls, and offertory bags. Mary Green recommended that Nikki Willis, textiles teacher at the Perse School for Girls, be given the frontal commission. Miss Willis drew on images from the area as well as actual pieces taken from an old cloth. The result is a contemporary design mixing old and new and appropriately called the Millennium Frontal.
The Millennium frontal is brought to the church only on special occasions. |
