It's almost two years since the last set of wildlife pictures (Click). It was seeing Althea Cubitt's photographs that inspired me to have another look at the pictures I had collected since then and to put them with a selection of Althea's for this set. I didn't include Jill's butterfly pictures as they can be found elsewhere (Click).

Althea and her husband followed their children (and grandchildren) back to England in 2008 from South Africa. She exchanged zebras and porcupines in the back garden for squirrels and hares in and around Red House Farm. She is interested in conservation, wildlife, and photography - a happy combination. She is finding plenty in the local environment to feed her enthusiasms.

Carolyn is the Lycra-clad streak flashing by on her racing bicycle with a cheery wave.

As far as I know all the pictures are taken in and around The Eversdens. If you have some new local wildlife pictures, I would be pleased to have them for the next collection. (DF)
