2nd and 3rd February 2009       Back to The Eversdens Scene Index          (With dial-up these pictures will take between 5 and 15 seconds to load)

Britain stood still on the 2nd. Local schools closed and transport froze. Only the brave ventured out. Karen and Abbi (and Simba) were among them. The 3rd dawned icy but with no more snow. The schools reopened and the sun came out. Footprints in the snow told of a village well-walked - dog-walkers, of course, countless rabbits, and plenty of deer. St Helen's looked dour on the 2nd: St Mary's sparkled on the 3rd.
