A planning meeting of the Parish Council was held in the Village Hall on Monday 3^rd November 2008 at 8pm.

Present Mrs Handley, Mr Tebbit, Mrs Hobbs, Mrs Connolly, Mr White and, in the Chair, Mr Dalton

This was a meeting for the consideration of Planning matters only.

1          S/1708/08/F Extension at Meridian, Finch's Field Lt. Eversden. Approved

2          S/1746/08/F Revised plans for an extension at 5 Chapel Road, Gt. Eversden

            Approved.

Agreed to repeat previous request that the Village Hall Car Park should not be used for parking or turning by builders or their supply lorries.

            Mrs Hobbs declared an interest. 

3          S/1584/08/F: 16 Lowfields, Little Eversden. Modification of previous application to demolish existing house and build two semi-detached houses on the site. Refused.

Agreed to repeat previous objections that the houses have no garages, inadequate parking space for two households, and are sited on a dangerous bend in a  narrow country lane.  The site is not suitable for two dwellings but would be suitable for a single larger house as at No. 24 and 26 Lowfields. A site inspection was requested. 

4          Brook House, Harlton Road, Lt. Eversden.  Request for  a Lawful Development Certificate.  This appears to refer to minor alterations and extensions.  No comment.
