That is because a wonderful meal was provided and much enjoyed, as was the company. I believe the event somehow even made a bit of profit for the Recreation Ground. You will recognise the "management". This is the first village lunch I have snapped since 2006 (Click). Derek Blatch enjoyed the occasion so much he suggested there should be a Village Lunch every month! It's a great way to get together. What about a buffet or fish and chips? Any takers - for masterminding the next one, that is?  (DF)
