The Gunners' season came to an end with a Dads and over 40s v the Boys game followed by a BBQ and the presentation of trophies.  The game was watched by a good number of spectators who appeared to enjoy seeing a well-matched game with the Dads only just beating the Boys by 3-2. For the Dads, Derek Blatch scored with a header, Dave Cousins also scored displaying a Peter Crouch type celebration and a third goal was scored by David Cox with Salvador Potter (goalkeeper) winning Man of the Match.  Scorers for the boys were Jimmy Cousins and Harvey Ashworth.

The Club would like to thank everyone who has been able to help in any way and for the dedication and determination of the committee members and the support of the parents.

The Club is very fortunate to have gained sponsorship again for the 2009/2010 Season from Active Tyres (Wallis) of Barton, whose name is displayed on the team strip, all weather jackets, and training shirts. (Helen Walker)
