The Recreation Ground Committee have started something with this FUN DAY. Climbing Wall, puzzles, games, races, face-painting, archery, car boot sale, football, food, beer, music, and much more. A great day out for the whole family. And the handing-over of a cheque for £80,000 from David Ellis to the committee for the provision of special facilities for the young teenagers of the villages Yes, £80,000!

The weather did its bit as usual. Congratulations to Derek Blatch and his committee and a HUGE Thankyou to David Ellis. (DF)
