St Helen's bells welcomed a good crowd for the Youth Band's first Christmas concert. And what a treat! There were mince pies and mulled wine before and after! In between the band performed brilliantly - concert pieces and carols. The band was augmented by more seasoned players from around the area for the carols. In July they played at the pavilion (click). With such dedicated players, teachers, and supporters, this band is going places. (Too busy with the mince pies to catch more of the large audience. Ed.)
