Once again the sun shone on the Eversdens' Church Fete. This year the fete was held in the village hall and the adjoining field. There was plenty of room for all sorts of family fun. The Reverend Michael Matthews joined his new parish at play and presented the prizes at the end. It looked as though there had been something of a population explosion in the villages - but some of the babies were back visiting grandparents. Oh, and the event added a useful sum to the funds.
